Eleiko Weightlifting Level 1 Live Workshop- NASM One Members get 50% off!
We’re excited to share an upcoming workshop opportunity with our partners at Eleiko!
Eleiko makes learning and coaching the Olympic lifts safe and easy with practically proven systems and methods. In the 2-day Weightlifting Level 1 workshop you will learn the components of performance and how they directly impact your lifting. You will further learn simple movement screens that will help you identify the ability of the lifter so you can make informed decisions about how to best adapt the lifts to their ability. We will then walk you through a thorough systematic process to learn how to safely and correctly perform, observe, and coach each lift specifically for anyone whether they are a beginner or advanced lifter. You will also be introduced to programming concepts to help you build safe and effective programs. This course is a practical, hands-on learning experience designed to provide you with enough repetition and feedback to leave feeling confident and competent with performing and coaching each lift.
This immersive 2‑day workshop, held April 11–12 at Eleiko’s headquarters in Austin, Texas, delivers expert-led instruction designed to help you:
- Build confidence and technical proficiency performing Olympic lifts
- Develop and hone your "coach's eye" using a practical step-by-step process
- Use appropriate movement screens to gauge a person's ability to move
- Put each lift safely into practice within client programs
- Deepen your understanding of stress, recovery, and programming
